Our History
ENERG POWER AG was founded in 2017, from the entrepreneurial initiative of private individuals, the main aim of the company is to enter the Natural Gas market as a Trader and Shipper. He began his activity in October 2017, as a Shipper, to serve various counterparties (Resellers) operating in the Italian market. After several years as an operator in the market, in 2022, 100% of the company was acquired by MDC Trade GmbH, as Management Buyout, and continues its mission. In 2023, the company's shareholding opened up to new investors, with the aim of a broader internationalization process.

Dr. Gianni Cantiello
Locarno (1964)
He is an entrepreneur in the Facility Management and real estate sector. In 1988 he began his entrepreneurial activity by collaborating with various catering and hotel service companies, in personnel and logistics management. In the years from 1998 to 2016, he has concentrated his activity in the real estate sector, acquiring and renovating structures for commercial and residential use, and then proceeding with their placement on the market. In 2017, he was appointed Director of the company West Industrial Investment SA, a company in the real estate sector, aimed at the development and implementation of projects in the construction sector. In September 2021 he also became Director of Energ Power AG, a company operating in Natural Gas Trading based in the Canton of Zug. In April 2023, following the new governance of Energ Power AG, he became CEO with operational and extraordinary powers.
